As a dedicated user since 2016, the recent reduction in the free version's features, particularly limiting video clips to just one without prior notice, has left me disappointed. While I understand the need for app developers to sustain their services through subscriptions, the recent change feels abrupt and without proper communication. Additionally, the pricing structure for the subscription, with its significant jump from the free version to $50 per year or $250 for a lifetime, seems disproportionately high for the limited additional features provided, especially for users like myself who only require a fraction of the premium offerings. I value the app and the memories it has helped me preserve, but this recent shift has made me reconsider its place in my daily life.

Sorry, this change wasn’t intended. We have a technical bug in how grandfathered users are determined and have a fix submitted with Apple. The upcoming version should fix the issue.

I literally have days earlier this month that have two clips, but since the update I'm only allowed one unless I upgrade, and with no warning that a feature I've used for 7 years would now be behind a paywall. wtf.
