Could you talk more about each of the things and maybe what you did as a workaround instead A?
A
Vinh Dinh:
- Haven’t tried a workaround, but I meant it for longer clips (>1 year) where one song is not enough to cover the whole video. For example, if you were to choose two songs (say one with 120BPM and one with 100BPM), it would “mash” those songs together end to end where the snippets in first part of the video (with the first song) would each be 0.5 seconds long, and when the song finishes the other song starts playing right away (as if you were listening to a playlist) where each snippet would then play for 0.6 seconds (to match the song’s 100BPM).
- Since Apple Music files are protected, you cant choose a file in your music library unless it was either imported into iCloud Music Library or purchased through the iTunes store. Using the Files app to select .mp3 or other audio files would be easier.
- For songs with high BPMs (i.e. 120BPM) sometimes 0.5 second snippets are too short. Having the ability to select a fraction of the BPM (30BPM in this case) would allow the snippets to be longer while still being synced to the beat.
Regarding the first point… while I haven’t tried it, a workaround would be creating two videos with different songs separately and sticking them together in a video editing program.
