Jump to previous empty day on Android
Vinh Dinh
Attila Lindsay Dovey (Miss Dovey's Demos) We now show you the last snippet you've added to a project instead of jumping to today. Does that work for your usecase? If not, could you please talk more about it and maybe give an example of the last time you encountered the issue?

Vinh Dinh: Thank you, it might improves the usage for those, who haven't filled their timeline for 2 weeks+. I am a user who can sometimes fill in 1 day, and then forget about it for 3 days. Then I add another snippet, so I wouldn't fall behind so much and skip 2 days again. Then, when I finally have some time to fill my gaps, I don't know how much to go back in time to find the first snippet that is breaking my longest chain. I would appreciate a button (eg. an up arrow in the middle of the top menubar, between the project name and the Auto-fill button) with what I could jump back to the first empty snippet calendar day after my longest chain (Current stat: 1700snippets, Longest streak - 1657d, Current snippet streak: 5d). I would like to correct my broken chain, starting with the first missing piece and I don't always have time to just browse back ~100 days to find that empty cell and to get a footage for that day from my other devices -- which also takes up a lot of time.
Thank you for considering my request and improving the user experience!

Vinh Dinh: The use case is where you've already clipped a video for yesterday/today, but you want to go back and fill all the days that you've missed.
In my workflow, for example, I go months without clipping videos, then near the end of the year I go back and fill in all the days that I've missed. This is extremely tedious on Android since there's no way to jump to a calendar date. https://feedback.1se.co/feature-request/p/jump-to-date-android
Ideally the "jump to empty" button would jump back to the most recent empty day where there is available video content (i.e. have some way to skip/ignore days that are empty because there's no content in your library from that day), otherwise it would get stuck on skipped days that I'm never going to fill.

BTW a really simple fix that would make this less terrible in the short term would be just to keep your place in the timeline rather than snapping back to today. Right now, if you press back from the date screen, the timeline snaps to today instead of keeping your place where you were. So you have to scroll way back again if you're backfilling videos.

Really good addition!!
