Global option to set snippet volume to X% unless changed upon choosing the snippet [Android]

At the moment, when a snippet has been selected, the volume is set to 50% unless specifically changed at the time of choosing the snippet.
I'd rather have all my snippets set at 100% volume (unless individually specified) so that I don't lose volume unnecessarily. After all, if the mashed clip is too loud, the volume can simply be turned down upon playback.
In contrast, increasing the volume of a mashed video (which has previously lost volume before compiling) is likely to experience a drop in audio quality.
I'd suggest giving the user the option to change this default starting value (to X%) in the global settings.
At present, I have to remember for each clip to stick it back up to 100%, which is a little frustrating, and likely to result in missing a few.
Cheers,

I agree w/ this request, although for the opposite reason: I'd prefer to have all my snippets start a 0% volume and then be able to increase the few that I actually do want to hear.

Hi Ben,
Thanks for your feedback!
The "50" mark is actually the original volume of your snippet and anything above that is making it louder.
I can see how this can be confusing, so I'll leave this here and share your concern and request with our Product team. :)

Silvia Burgos: Is there any chance you can make it an option to change snippet volume after the original snippet has been chosen so that an entire song can be heard without interruption? Thank you!!

Silvia Burgos: Hi Silvia, I was told by your devs (via Jon) that 50 actually represented 50% of the original volume. And this seems to be true when I tested myself (by ear).
Either way, this element remains a little confusing, so clarity around it would be helpful.
Plus, flexibility (perhaps via a global setting) could quite easily satisfy Bill Peloquin, myself and everyone in between
