It would be a lot easier to just select start and end dates instead of selecting each video when doing a mash-up through custom. Sometimes you do want a full year but not the calendar year. Or maybe multiple years, or year and a half,... And so on.

Inclusion of half year options would be great. (Jan-June) (July-Dec). As full year movies can be too long.

And/ or simply provide option to choose start and end date.

The new design makes it very frustrating to create a mashed video from custom dates. For example, it used to be very easy to say “Show me all videos from 10/22/2019 (daughter’s birthday) through today.” With the redesign, it is quite painful to manually select all of the days (even with the “Select All” buttons for each month)

Usually I want to see my last year but it’s not from the start of the year it’s from the day I want to create one.

I feel like this is always a hassle for me. I’d like to just choose “view a year from today.”

To add to this, I find it impossible to create custom mash-ups going further back than a year or more as you have to scroll up for so long, I end up accidentally selecting random dates in the process. Would be great to have the left date sidebar included when mashing clips to navigate years and months easier.

yes, please, oh my gosh, having to scroll-select months at a time is extremely frustrating! it used to let you select a start and end date manually, why did this disappear?!

Laura Fisher: I just realized you can click and drag to custom select dates. Not as good as start and finish dates, but better then manually clicking one by one.

Ruth Battistetti: Are you clicking and dragging on iOS? I haven't figured out a way to do that on Android, it just scrolls up and down :(

Stephen S: Yes, Android. You need to click (press your finger) and hold. Then drag your finger down. When you first click a date you won't see that green check mark until you either remove your finger or start dragging your finger down. Let me know if it works :)
