Be able to move snippets from one day to another

It’s so much easier to load in a snippet on the day it was taken, rather than have to scroll through potentially hundreds or thousands of other photos and videos if you want to use that snippet on another day, but you can only move it to ‘today’ or copy it to a project. It would be so helpful if we could select what day we’d like to move it to.

Commenting to show demand for this feature 💕💕 Pls expand the existing option to copy a clip to another project to include copying (/moving) it to a different day within the project it’s already in. Sometimes I wanna move stuff around. Ty 🙏🙏💞

I’ve very often done the following: selected the wrong date, selected the right video, painstakingly chosen the best second, then once I realized that it was the wrong date, had to delete it and start from scratch on the correct date. It’d be really great if there was a way to move a clip from one day to another.

Melissa Blacklock Elle Wright Taiya Are you all on iOS? Do you mean when tapping on the plus button of a certain day it should show the available seconds of that day instead of today on top and then all other content chronologically ordered after that?

Vinh Dinh: For me, I usually use a snippet from the actual day it was recorded. But sometimes it's a "filler" snippet and I might want to move it to a different day in my timeline. Right now, there is the option to move snippets to different projects, but not to a different day in the timeline. So if I have deleted the video from my phone, I can't use it on a different day. (Yes, I am using iOS.)

Vinh Dinh: Yes, usually I would want to move it to another day that doesn't have content. And the now empty date I would fill with another snippet. For example, maybe I didn't get a video for that day, but another person did and they send it to me later.
Real life example: I go to a birthday party and forget to take a video so I fill that date with something else. Later, a friend sends me a video taken at the party. I would want to easily move the "filler" or "everyday" video to a different date, and replace it with the video from the party.
