Android users are paying also, why they get nothing for it ?!

As a paying customer of 10 years, I feel compelled to share my experience with 1SE and the immense frustration I’ve faced due to the app's lack of functionality and support for Android users. Here are the major issues I’ve encountered:
- Storage Consumption: The app takes up over 140GB on my phone, and with the system already using 50GB, I’m left with no space to take photos, record videos, or add new snippets. Despite upgrading to a new device with higher memory specifically for this app, the problem persists. There’s no efficient way to manage storage, as old years can't be deleted with a simple function. iOS has a function to delete older videos, why Android doesn't have ?!
- Restore Process is Broken: After switching to a new phone, I’ve spent countless hours trying to restore my library, only to face endless delays and failed attempts. It’s simply unacceptable for a paid app to fail at something as critical as restoring memories.
- Lack of Android Parity: iPhone users seem to enjoy features that Android users can only dream of. Why is the Android version of the app treated like an afterthought when we’re paying the same subscription fee?
- No Solution or Timeline: Support has repeatedly told me there’s no ETA for storage optimization on Android. Manually deleting snippets is unrealistic for a library spanning years. There’s no acknowledgment of how vital this feature is for long-term users who rely on the app to store cherished memories.
- Emotional Impact: My grandmother is seriously ill, and I wanted to share this year’s video with her, as we’ve done together in the past. Due to the app’s limitations, I can’t mash the video, I can’t create anything new, and I can’t share those moments with her. It’s heartbreaking to feel so helpless over something that should work seamlessly.
This app has gone from being a tool I loved to a constant source of stress. If the Android developers or leadership team read this, I urge you to prioritize your paying customers and deliver the functionality we’ve been asking for. Your neglect of Android users is unacceptable, and it’s time for real action.

I hear your frustration and I have been using the paid app for just a few years. What was once a great tool has become, like you say, a constant stress. With no dates showing up in the freestyle video, and so it's so tiring to find which days I am missing and then switch the order to match the chronological timeline, and no plan to allow for multiple users have access to one account (me and my wife want to make one video per year of our family), what's the point?!? I am going back to the free version next year...

I share your frustrations too. Why am I paying the same as apple users for an afterthought Android version?

I agree with everything! I'm still waiting for the option to pick snippets from folders (like we used to be able to do in the free app!) It was apparently being looked at years ago. Android is just pushed to the side yet we're paying the same!
