I'm going to close this as there's no plans to change the free or pro plan around number of snippets.
For users that bought the app before it went free (grandfathered status), you should be able to still add two snippets per day. If you can't please reach out to support@1secondeveryday.com and we'll fix that up.

all i need is 2 snippet a day because I'm having a hard time to choose the best one . i really like this and i would love to get 2 snippet a day for free version . the pro version is just too expensive and i can't really afford it . plss that's what i need

Its so sad that they keep pretending like they didn't just take away features from free users overnight with no warning

Does anyone know how to go back to an old update. That’s the only way we’ll get it back but I don’t know if that’s possible

Unfortunately 2 snippets a day was free until they released an update and took it away
Marin Holmes
Maria: yes! I was really bummed! I wish I hadn't done the update. Bring it back!
Ashlee
I agree COMPLETELY! I also feel like we should be able to pay a small amount per project versus having to pay $50/year for Pro. I'm not willing to pay that much PER YEAR for 1 more project... but I'd pay nominal fee to add another project.

I agree with Harold. I had access to 2 snippets a day for free until I updated and everyone I know that used the app also could as well. The update took away a lot of features for free users and has become quite unsubale really, you cant even remove the 1SE logo at the top without having to pay. The end card was enough branding for free users, now they have comepletly ruined the experience. I didn't even get to export my 2020 video without the logo, had I know I would have turned off updates.

Hi! Two snippets a day has been a Pro feature since we started offering subscriptions. Please reach out to us through the app's Settings > Contact Support if you feel like you lost access to some of the features you had before.
Ashlee
Silvia Burgos: Hello. This is not accurate. I know people that have the FREE version, did NOT update, and have two free snippets a day PLUS two free projects. They are NOT PRO users either, just using the FREE version. However, I also use the free version and do NOT have these features. So it really revolves around the update removing these features for free users.
Silvia Burgos
Ashlee : These are grandfathered users who originally paid for the app when it wasn't available for free. If this is your case too, please reach out to us through the app. 🙏🏻
Ashlee
Silvia Burgos: Thank you so much for your reply, however, this is not accurate information that you are providing. I know users that have NEVER paid for the app, have always used the FREE version, and have access to 2 snippets per day and 2 Projects. These are the lucky ones that didn't update the app and get stripped of these features.

Ashlee : YES! I have never paid for the app and had 2 snippets for free and no logo/branding in the corner and suddely lost it when I updated. There was no warning in the update description. My friends have also never paid and haven't updated and so got to keep the 2 snippets. I don't understand why we keep getting lied to. (BTW reaching out through the app gets you nowhere)
Silvia Burgos
Ashlee @anna-2035: thanks for your feedback, this sounds like a bug. We'll take a look at it.
Macie
Silvia Burgos: no it hasn’t, I have been using free version for years and always had two, until I updated two days ago and now only have 1.first photo was from yesterday, only allowing 1, second was from 10th June and it was allowing two!

Jane
Macie: same thing happened to me! It’s terrible they keep us insisting it never happened
Silvia Burgos
Macie Jane: Please reach out to us through the app's Settings > Contact Support so we can follow-up.
Macie
Jane: yep and they’re refusing to give them back, good thing is there’s so many other versions out there now. It’s clearly all about the money, even though free users are still promoting their app.

Macie: 100%! I was never even subscribed and I still had those features. Definitely was free and then they turned the feature into a money grab :( . Will be switching to a better app next year!
