Back button to take you back to media selection, not back to snippet addition [Android]

Its a frustrating thing. If you select media you want to cut, then realise you want to select another piece of media instead, you hit the back button and it takes you two steps back to the snippet selection and not to the media selection.

Would be great if when you tap back from trimming a video (say if you decide to use a different video) it would take you back to video selection not the timeline.

Yes! This is so annoying. Makes me rather use the old app instead of paying for the new one. It's a huge inconvenience!

This would definitely improve user experience! I often want tochoose between a couple of videos, and it is so annoying to have to go right out to change your choice.

Yes please! Especially on my pixel it takes about 20 seconds to load my videos so if I don't like one it takes a long time!

Yes, fixing this would be great!

Here an example of the issue i experience.

Tap on a day.
Tap to add a snippet.
In the Local Media area, browse photos and videos. Tap on one of interest to view it.
If i don't like this one, I tap to go back.

Instead of taking me back to Local Media (step 3), it takes me back to the day (step 2). This adds an extra tap to add a snippet again.
