It would be great to be able to invite one or more persons to collaborate in the creation of a project.

This would be specially nice when creating a timeline for my child with the help of my husband or creating a freestyle of a trip with a bunch of friends.

Freestyle Collabs are now available on Android! Update to version 4.0.4 to get the most of it. Collabs are compatible with iOS users :)

Collaborate with my husbands photos on his phone as well as mine.

I’d love to be able to work on a project with my husband and have us both be able to add photos without me having to go into his Google photos, save the photos to my Google photos than save the photos to my iPhone just to finally upload the small snippet into 1SE. The reason we want this is because we just had a baby and we both have taken so many photos and we’d like to combine them all into one video without too much hassle as our free time has now significantly been reduced :)

What you're describing sounds like the Freestyle Collab feature. Here's how it is described on the website:
> Create collaborative groups with other 1SE users to make freestyle videos together. iOS only... for now.
Since it sounds like you have Android, you shouldn't have to wait too much longer. Freestyle Collab for Android is something they are actively working on.
The cool thing about Freestyle Collab is that only _one_ of the members of the collaboration needs to have the Pro subscription. So for example you could subscribe to Pro, but your husband could stay on the free tier.
